We invite you to view some of the first models that will be produced at the Honda EV Hub: the Honda Saloon and C-SUV. These models will be on display at the Honda Heritage Center in Marysville from February 3–21.

Construction Update: High School Tech Internship Application Period Now Open

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—January 2, 2025:
Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted, director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, announced that applications are now open for the next round of the High School Tech Internship program.

This program offers Ohio employers wage reimbursement for hosting high school interns in tech-related roles—creating a recruitment pipeline while providing students with valuable early work experience.

"Last year, nearly 1,000 students participated, giving them a great opportunity to try out a career in their local communities," said Lt. Governor Husted.

Program Benefits:

  • Intern Roles: AI, software development, data & IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, broadband/5G, and more.
  • Employer Incentives: Reimbursement of up to 75% of intern wages (up to $5,000 per intern).

  • Northwest & Western Ohio: Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE)
  • Northeast Ohio: Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U)
  • Central Ohio: Educational Service Center of Central Ohio

Ohio Partners with Anduril to “Rebuild the Arsenal” for National Security

PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio—
Anduril Industries, a leader in defense technology, will establish a new 5-million-square-foot manufacturing facility—Arsenal-1—in Pickaway County, bringing over 4,000 jobs to Ohio by 2035.

This project represents the largest single job creation and new payroll project in Ohio’s history, projected to add nearly $1 billion to the state’s GDP.
